rouhy and I are sitting side by side in a wheelchair
I am pushing the left wheel and she is pushing the right
together we make the chair go forward
teamwork
we even push it upstairs
we are climbing together due to our good teamwork
but the stairs start spiralling to the left - anticlockwise
if we both keep pushing our wheels at the same pace as we have been doing
we would crash into the wall
we need to adapt to the environment and situation
so I slow down my wheel while rouhy keeps pushing hers more
in this way we make the wheelchair turn left
and we keep climbing
teamwork
although it looks like rouhy is doing more work than I and I feel a bit guilty
we both realise that its due to the situation we are in
if I don't slow down my wheel then our chair wont turn and we wont be able to keep climbing
we are still working as hard as one another as a team
but in different ways
rouhy by pushing her wheel slightly harder
and I by pushing mine less
...in order to steer the chair and let us continue to climb
just like in life
sometimes we face a scenario which forces one partner to focus on a different type of task
like computer work or job applications
leaving the other to take up the slack in one area
while the other...doesn't just sit on his but and enjoy the ride,..but diverts their focus on another task
so that the family as a team can still benefit and rise
and individually we are incomplete (disabled)
but together we move forward and climb
